Crawl space humidity enters through the crawl space vents during the summertime. And in the winter, crawl space vents allow frigid air into the space.
Combined, these two forces mean a continuous drain on your utility bills as well as a rotting, decaying crawl space under your home.
Here you can see our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier installation in this crawl space. This is the best solution to encapsulating your crawl space to ensure it is always dry.
For best results the sump should always be located in the lowest area of the slab. A SuperSump was installed on this project and will able to handle unwanted water for years to come.
For this wet basement, our crew dug a trench around the interior perimeter of the basement. A bed of small stones is laid down and the drain is laid on top. After a sump pump pit is installed, a discharge line is run from the pump to the outside. That way, any water that may come in will be pumped out and the basement will stay dry.
Want a more usable clean crawl space? I can help with that with a lasting solution? CleanSpace Liners keep out water & moisture & reduce relative humidity.
